Saturday's events are part of Ko Olina's involvement in the World Golf Foundation and Golf 20/20's Get Golf Ready program. PGA and LPGA professionals will teach golfers what they need to know to step onto a golf course and play with confidence, and have fun.
In five days, players receive six hours of lessons that include on-course experience, free use of rental clubs and range balls during lessons and a maximum 8-to-1 teacher-to-student ratio. Cost is $99 per person. Groups of four or more can schedule their own time.
The first sessions will be Tuesdays (May 5, 12, 19, 26 and June 2), Wednesdays (May 6, 13, 20, 27 and June 3) and Saturdays (May 9, 16, 23, 30 and June 6). Second sessions are Tuesdays (June 23, 30, July 7, 14 and 21), Wednesdays (June 24, July 1, 8, 15 and 22) and Saturdays (June 27, July 4, 11, 18 and 25).
