SCORE of Hawaii will hold a seminar Friday at the Ala Moana Hotel, designed to help Hawai�i�s small business owners tap into the $787 billion in economic stimulus money approved by Congress

The seminar titled, �Contracting Opportunities for Small Business � Capturing Your Share of the Stimulus Dollars� will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hotel�s Hibiscus Room. There will be speakers from various federal, state, city and county agencies, as well as a local business owner who has received one of the largest government contracts in Hawai�i.
�It�s a daunting task to figure out how to qualify and even how to begin going after contracts. Our overall goal is to help small businesses in Hawai�i succeed,� said Bob Wilkinson, former President and CEO of Grace Pacific Corporation who now serves as a SCORE business counselor.
�The best way to help right now, when Hawai�i small businesses need it most, was to bring the foremost experts together to simplify the process for obtaining stimulus projects.�
