Mililani stabbing suspect arrested

A man wanted in connection with the Saturday stabbing of a woman in Mililani was arrested yesterday.

Delvin Kelley was arrested at about 1 p.m. at the Honolulu Police Department�s main station on South Beretania Street. He was booked for investigation of attempted murder and remained in custody pending charges.
At about 2:45 p.m. Saturday, police said a 25-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times at her residence in the Melemanu Woodlands complex on Waikalani Place. The woman was taken to The Queen�s Medical Center in serious condition.
Police launched a manhunt for the suspect, described as the victim�s ex-boyfriend.
Kelley�s criminal history shows a conviction in July for third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug, according to information from the state Criminal Justice Data Center. Kelley was sentenced to two days confinement.
