NHL: Heatley unhappy in role with Senators

KELOWNA, British Columbia — Dany Heatley says he wants the Ottawa Senators to trade him because he's not happy with his diminished role on the team.
Heatley spoke today during a conference call, the first time he's commented publicly since he asked for a trade in the spring.
The winger signed a six-year contract extension less than two years ago. But he says his role has changed, especially in the last two seasons.
The former 50-goal scorer says if he's still a Senator next month, he will report to training camp.
Heatley is among those invited to the Canadian Olympic team orientation camp starting Monday in Calgary.
