Police continue to investigate the discovery of a woman’s body that was found off Winant Street near the Kamehameha Homes housing project in Kalihi yesterday morning.

Police have tentatively identified the victim as an 18-year-old woman, but her name has not been released. Her body was found in an alley off Winant Street and she was pronounced dead at the scene at about 10:20 a.m.
The incident has been classified as an unattended death, pending the outcome of an autopsy.
