NFL: Eagles WR Jackson out against Falcons

Associated Press

PHILADELPHIA — Wide receiver DeSean Jackson is one of four Philadelphia Eagles ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Jackson, who leads the Eagles with eight touchdowns this season, suffered a concussion in last week’s win over the Washington Redskins.
Jackson, wide receiver Kevin Curtis (knee), running back Brian Westbrook (concussion) and linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee) were all ruled out by Eagles coach Andy Reid after Friday’s practice. Reid says Jackson had “normal headaches” this week and is not yet ready to return.
Tight end Brent Celek, who suffered a sprained thumb in last week’s win, practiced this week and Reid said he should play.
Curtis has been out since the second week of the season.
