NFL: Giants sign TE Bear Pascoe from practice squad

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Giants have signed tight end Bear Pascoe from their practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Giants announced the move Friday afternoon. Pascoe takes the roster spot that opened when middle linebacker Antonio Pierce was placed on injured reserve with a neck injury.
Pascoe was waived by San Francisco in September and was signed to the Giants’ practice squad. A two-time All-Western Athletic Conference selection at Fresno State, Pascoe caught 112 passes for 1,294 yards and 10 touchdowns.
New York also signed defensive tackle Jeremy Clark to its practice squad. Clark played in four games with the Giants last season, but was waived on Sept. 5 and signed to Atlanta’s practice squad. The Falcons released him on Tuesday.
