Penn, Sanchez make weight for tomorrow's UFC fight

BJ Penn and Diego Sanchez both made the 155-pound limit at the official
weigh-in for UFC 107 today in Memphis, Tenn.
Penn came in at 155; Sanchez initially weighed 156, but later came in at
154.5 on his second attempt.
The weigh-in took place before hundreds of fans at the FedEx Forum in
Memphis.
“I just want to enjoy all this," Penn said. "I just want to go out there and
do my best.”
Sanchez, after making his weight, said: "Destiny. That's it."
Penn and Sanchez will meet in the main event of UFC 107 on Saturday at the
FedEx Forum.
Penn's UFC lightweight world championship will be at stake. Penn, who is
from Hilo, has a record of 14-5-1. This will be the third defense of his
lightweight title.
Sanchez, who is originally from New Mexico but trains in California, is
21-2. This will be his first UFC world championship bout.
Hilo's Shane Nelson will face Matt Wiman in a lightweight bout on the
undercard.
