A 25-year-old Kailua man was arrested early this morning when a 39-year-old man Kailua man reported finding an unknown man in his home on Kalaheo Avenue.

The homeowner told police he noticed the man about 2:30 a.m. and was able to detain him while his wife called 911.
The man may have entered the home through an unlocked door, police said. There were no signs that the intruder searched the home, and it did not appear that anything was taken.
The suspect remained in police custody this morning after being arrested on suspicion of unauthorized entry into a dwelling.
