NFL: Snow forces kickoff change for Eagles-49ers
Associated Press
PHILADELPHIA — The start of the Eagles-49ers game Sunday has been moved to 4:15 p.m. EST from 1 p.m. because of a snowstorm in Philadelphia.
The team said Saturday the change was made to accommodate fans and allow more time for city and stadium personnel to clear streets and walkways in and around the stadium.
The game will be televised on Fox as scheduled.
Parking lots will open to fans at noon, with stadium gates opening at 3 p.m. The Eagles are encouraging fans to use transit to Lincoln Financial Field.
