Outrigger Reef on the Beach names chef

Outrigger Reef on the Beach has named Harold Beltran executive chef and Dietrich Chillous food and beverage manager.
Before joining Outrigger, Beltran was the executive chef for BluWater Grill. He also has held key positions at several restaurants in Honolulu including Ryan's Grill and Palomino Euro Bistro.
Chillous joins the Outrigger Reef on the Beach in the newly created position of food and beverage manager. He most recently worked as food and beverage manager for the Honolulu Country Club.
He also has held food and beverage positions at the Radisson Waikiki Prince Kuhio, the Outrigger Prince Kuhio hotel, the Waialae Country Club, Royal Hawaiian Cruises, Alana Waikiki Hotel and Padovani's Bistro & Wine Bar.
AT&T UPGRADES ISLE WIRELESS NETWORK
AT&T said recent upgrades to its wireless network in Hawai'i brings its total investment in the Islands to $23.5 million since 2007.
Amon other things, AT&T said it increased 3G network capacity and speed with deployment of its 1,900 megahertz spectrum to more than 110 cellular sites around the state.
AT&T also boosted its network reliability and emergency preparedness in case of natural disaster, the company said in a news release.
Nationally, AT&T said it expects to invest between $17 billion and $18 billion this year in its wireless network.

Travel industry professionals and readers of industry magazine Travel Weekly selected Pleasant Holidays as the nation's "Best Tour Operator Hawaii 2009" for the sixth consecutive year this week at an awards dinner Thursday at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
