The Manning brothers — Super Bowl Most Valuable Players and the second generation of Pro Bowl-playing quarterbacks — will be playing together for the first time in Sunday's Pro Bowl at Aloha Stadium.

Peyton Manning, 32, of the Indianapolis Colts will play for the AFC and younger brother Eli, 28, of the New York Giants will play for the NFC. Their father, Archie, played in the inaugural Pro Bowl game in 1980.

"It's great. We're really looking forward to it," said Peyton, who will be playing in his ninth Pro Bowl. "Eli and I don''t get to spend a lot of time together. I don't see him all season and the off-season program starts on March 15 so this is great with my parents coming over."

Said Eli, who will be making his first Pro Bowl appearance: "I'm excited about being here. It'll be fun. I think we're going to have a good time this week. It's really fun for us because we don't get a whole lot of time to spend with each other. So we're gonna take some time during the day to hang out, sit by the pool and relax. I'm looking forward to that."

Kickoff for the 30th annual game will be 11:30 a.m.

After this season, the Pro Bowl will move to Miami for the 2010 game. The state and the NFL are working toward a deal to have the game return here in the future.
