NEW YORK — If you thought the tortured tropical romance between Sawyer and Kate was over, you might be surprised by a future episode of "Lost," according to Evangeline Lilly, who stars as Kate on the ABC thriller.

"There is a reunion of sorts" awaiting the pair, says Lilly. Never mind that Kate seems to have escaped that mystical island while Sawyer, the handsome rogue played by Josh Holloway, was staying put.

Lilly calls their future encounter "very laced and complicated and simple." But she's careful not to spill any further details.

"I never know what I can and can't say," she explains.

Now in its fifth season, "Lost" airs Wednesdays.

The show, which will be broadcast live on Fox, will be co-hosted by Halle Berry and Tyler Perry.

BADU DELIVERS THEN TWITTERS

NEW YORK — Erykah Badu gave birth to a baby girl this weekend — and twittered about the experience.

The couple blogged about the birth on the Twitter Web site. Badu said she had a home birth that lasted about five hours and that she didn't use painkillers.

Badu, whose real name is Erica Wright, has a son and a daughter from previous relationships.

SUNDANCE FILM GETS OPRAH PUSH

Lee Daniels made a huge splash last month at the Sundance Film Festival with his second film, "Push: Based on the Novel by Sapphire," which became the third film ever to win both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award. Now he can reap his rewards.

Lionsgate announced it would distribute the film, the harrowing tale of an illiterate black teenager in Harlem who is pregnant with her second child — by her father.

What's more, Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry have agreed to promote the movie.

"I've never seen anything like it ... The film is so raw and powerful — it split me open," Winfrey said in a statement.
