Diamond Head Theatre is offering refunds or the chance to catch one of the remaining shows of "Souvenir," following the cancellation of performances Saturday and Sunday after leading actress Stefanie Smart was hospitalized Saturday evening.

Patrons can call the DHT box office at 733-0274.

Smart's illness was not disclosed.

Mary Chesnut, who is currently in rehearsal for "Carmen" with the Hawaii Opera Theatre, will step into the role of Florence Foster Jenkins for the upcoming weekend. Laurence Paxton will continue his role as Cosme McMoon.

"Our thoughts and prayers go toward the rapid recovery of Ms. Smart," said artistic director John Rampage. "In the meantime, we are confident that Ms. Chesnut will fill the role admirably. "

Shows currently scheduled are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday.

Thursday's show is canceled and the Saturday matinee performance is pending.

BROWN'S AD WORK ALL GUMMED UP

LOS ANGELES — Chris Brown's ad campaign with Wrigley was suspended yesterday until his criminal case is resolved. Reports surfaced that pop superstar Rihanna, his longtime girlfriend and a fellow no-show at the Grammy Awards, was the woman who accused him of assault.

The Los Angeles Times, citing law enforcement officials familiar with the case and other sources it did not name, reported that Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, was the woman who told police that Brown had hurt her the night before the Grammy Awards.

In a statement, Wrigley expressed concern about what it calls "serious allegations made against Chris Brown" but stopped short of saying it will drop the R&B star completely. Brown was arrested Sunday night for the alleged battery and canceled his Grammy performance.

WOZNIAK JOINING 'DANCING' CAST

LOS ANGELES — ABC says the new season of "Dancing with the Stars" will feature computer guru Steve Wozniak along with husband-and-wife competitors Jewel and Ty Murray and football great Lawrence Taylor.

The network announced the field of 13 celebrity competitors Sunday. The show returns for its eighth season March 9.

ABC says pop star Jewel will compete for "bragging rights" in the dance contest against Murray, her champion bull-rider spouse.

The rest of the field includes singers Belinda Carlisle, Chuck Wicks and Lil' Kim; actors Denise Richards, David Alan Grier and Gilles Marini; Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson; Steve-O of MTV's "Wildboyz"; and TV host Nancy O'Dell.

CANNON REPLACES JERRY SPRINGER

NEW YORK — America's got Nick Cannon as the new host of "America's Got Talent."

The musician, comedian, actor and producer will preside over the NBC talent competition series when it returns for a fourth season this summer, the network announced yesterday.

Cannon takes over "America's Got Talent" from Jerry Springer, who announced his departure last week.
