If you're in the mood for Indian, stop by Café Taj Mahal on Wai'alae Avenue, which offers good food at a good value.
The total for three people was $68.55, but there was enough food left over to easily feed one or two more people. We tasted the chicken tikka ($13.99), a staple on Indian menus that involves boneless chicken marinated in yogurt, herbs and spices and cooked on skewers in a clay oven. Because of the way it's cooked, the chicken often turns out dry, but at Taj Mahal it's less so. This part of the menu is served in combos, so you get a side salad and their gigantic, pillowy, chewy, fresh-baked naan bread to share.
