A section of Farrington Highway in Kapolei will be completely closed Wednesday for repaving work, the state Department of Transportation announced.

All lanes of Farrington Highway between Kamokila and Kalaeloa boulevards will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Traffic in both directions will be rerouted through Kamokila Boulevard and Kapolei Parkway.

Roadwork is weather-permitting. Motorists are advised to allow for extra travel time and to use caution through construction areas.
