Several west-bound lanes of the H-1 Freeway viaduct will be closed from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday to allow the Department of Transportation to conduct deck repairs.

DOT officials expect three of the five lanes from the airport off-ramp to the end of the Salt Lake viaduct to be closed, and the speed limit for the other lanes to be lowered to 15 mph.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes such as Moanalua Freeway and Kamehameha Highway.

Motorists are also advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.
