Fun run, circus set for keiki on Feb. 14

The Kraft Keiki Great Aloha Run & Circus is set for Feb. 14 at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
The event is for children 12 and under as well as their families.
There will be a 1 1/2-mile fun run for the youth with stretching exercises led by the Kraft mascot, Chees-a-saurus Rex, that starts at 8 a.m.
The run will go around McKinley High School and end at the Blaisdell hall. Parents or legal guardians must run with children who are 5 or younger.
The circus party will follow the race. The party will include snacks, activities, clowns and balloons, magicians and entertainment. Participants will also receive T-shirts, goodie bags and fee entry into the Great Aloha Run Sports Health & Fitness Expo.
The cost is $12 for children and $6 for adults, with mail-in registration due by Jan. 26. Late registration at packet pickup is $18 per child and $6 for adults.
Purchase any Kraft product and include the UPC code with the registration form to receive $2 off the fee. One UPC code must be included for each registration discount.

YONAMINE TO DISCUSS NEW BOOK TOMORROW
Maui native Wally Yonamine, the first American to play professional baseball in Japan after World War II, will make an appearance next week to discuss the publication of a new book — Wally Yonamine: The Man Who Changed Japanese Baseball.
Yonamine and the author of the book, Robert K. Fitts, will be at Kahala Nui, a retirement community home, tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
KAMA'AINA KIDS FLAG FOOTBALL REGISTRATION
The registration deadline for Kama'aina Kids flag football is Sunday.
The season will run from Jan. 18 to March 15 and games will be at East O'ahu Field and Central O'ahu Field. The league is open to players under age 6, 8, 10 and 12.
There will be free player and coaching clinics conducted by the Elite Sports Academy on Jan. 10 and 11.
