Poet Burns to be honored in true Scottish Fashion

To commemorate the 250th anniversary of poet Robert Burns' birth, the Caledonian Society of Hawaii will be holding a supper and celebration on Jan. 24.
The event from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Hawaii Convention Center will include singing, country and highland dancing, piping and poetry reading, including Burns' famous "Address to a Haggis."
Haggis will be on the menu, along with Cock-a-Leekie soup and Tipsy Laird dessert.
