Hawaii Superferry has announced that the vessel Alakai will be out of service from Feb. 2 to 17 while it is put into dry dock for annual maintenance and Coast Guard recertification.

Reservations will not be taken for the dates the vessel will be out of service, but will be taken for voyages for Feb. 18 and beyond, the company said.

Customers who made reservations for Feb. 2-17 are being contacted by the company and offered the option of a refund or reserving a later travel date.
