Recyclabes, including scrap metal and appliances, will be accepted at Kalani High School on Jan. 24.

The event runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Other recyclables that will be accepted include scrap bicycles, lawn mowers, newspaper, drink containers, plastic bags and hangers, old tires, green waste, batteries, reusable clothing (for donation to Goodwill), cell phones, cooking oil, telephone books, foam and unwanted cars.

Proceeds will benefit Kalani High School.
