The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for O'ahu until 1 a.m. Tuesday.

At 9:55 p.m. Monday, radar showed persistent moderate to heavy rain over the North Shore, with the heaviest rain affecting Hale'iwa, Waialua and Mokule'ia.

Other areas in the advisory include Punalu'u, Pupukea, La'ie, Kahuku and Hau'ula.
