Oahu residents impacted by the severe storms and flooding of Dec. 10-16, 2008, may be eiliglbe for free legal services for disaster-related situations.

The services are provided by a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers division in conjunction with the Hawaii Bar Association.

Call 808 792-7346 to apply for disaster legal services.

Available services include:

� Help with insurance claims.

� Counseling on landlord-tenant and other housing issues.

� Assistance with home repair contracts.

� Counseling in consumer protection matters, remedies and procedures.

� Counseling on mortgage foreclosure problems.

� Replacement of wills and other important documents.

� Drafting of power of attorney and other estate administration issues.

� Referrals to state or local agencies that may be of further assistance.
