Hawaii Foodbank will receive $77,689 from the Circuit Court as part of a distribution of unclaimed settlement funds.
The money is part of $127,689 that went unclaimed after Lex Brodie’s Tire Company settled a class-action suit in 2006.
In April of this year, the court ordered the unclaimed money to be distributed to the food bank, Legal Aid Society of Hawaii ($25,000) and the Jan Brenner Foundation ($25,000).
