Artist Hilton Alves will present a series of paintings about stand up paddling, surf, marine life and other ocean-related images at the Haleiwa Arts Festival July 18 and 19.

Alves, who lives and paddles in Hawaii, released his Waterman Collection earlier this year. His larger works can be seen on murals in Santos, Guaruja, Sao Paulo, Bahia and Floripa in Brazil, as well as on Oahu.
