A man who was stabbed last night in Kalihi is in stable condition this morning.

The victim, who appeared to be in his 50s, was stabbed near the McDonald’s restaurant on North Nimitz Highway near Puuhale Road shortly before 10:30 p.m. The man suffered what appeared to be multiple stab wounds, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department.
The man was initially listed in serious condition, but has since been upgraded to stable, Cheplic said.
Police have opened an attempted murder case and were looking for the suspects or suspects in this case.
