Ala Moana Shopping Center has a two week birthday bash planned for Aug. 13 to 31.

The center’s 50th anniversary festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 13 with a special birthday celebration at center stage featuring a traditional Hawaiian blessing, multicultural entertainment and an honorarium ceremony to recognize the Center’s remaining 11 original businesses that also will be celebrating their 50th anniversary at the Ala Moana.

Other promotions include anniversary sales, special offers, gift with purchase promotions, in-store events, commemorative 50th anniversary products, a photo contest, the grand opening of the Lego store and more.
