The ninth annual Voices on the Wind concert at 4 p.m. today at the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall features the Pacific Rim Youth Chorus, consisting of more than 300 young voices from 12 advanced choirs from across the U.S. They will perform songs from China, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Hawai'i, Samoa, New Zealand, the Philippines and the Torres Strait Islands. Also on the program are Kenny Endo's Taiko Center of the Pacific Youth Group, Halau Hula Olana and the Philippine Cultural Group of Hawaii. Read more at www.myadvertiser.com/kakaako.
