Boxing: Cotto-Pacquiao bout set for November

LAS VEGAS — Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto are set to fight in November.
Promoter Bob Arum said Monday the two would meet Nov. 14 at the MGM Grand and be shown on HBO pay-per-view.
Pacquiao (49-3-2, 37 KOs) has won titles in six weight divisions from 112 to 140 pounds. He pummeled the retiring Oscar De La Hoya in December and stopped Ricky Hatton in May, cementing his claim as the best pound-for-pound fighter around.
He also attended a June bout at which Cotto bashed his way to a split decision over Joshua Clottey in New York. Cotto (34-1, 27 KOs) also took the WBO welterweight title in February with a win over Michael Jennings.
