The five HI-5¢ beverage container redemption centers operated by Kaua'i Community Recycling Service will be closed for maintenance today through Tuesday. The sites are in Hanalei, Kekaha, Kilauea, Koloa and Lihu'e (O'ihana St.).

People who want to redeem their HI-5¢ containers during the closures are encouraged to visit other bottle redemption sites around the island including: Kapahi, at 5675B Kawaihau Road behind Menehune Food Mart; Lihu'e, at Kaua'i Resource Center, 3460 Ahukini Road; Nawiliwili, at the intersection of Wilcox Road and Kanoa Street near the old Hale Kaua'i; and Lawa'i, next to the post office.
