Surf advisory: South shore waves will be in 5- to 8-foot range

A high-surf advisory remains in effect for the south shores of all islands.
Waves in the 5- to 8-foot range are in the forecast from today through tomorrow morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The advisory remains in effect until noon tomorrow.
As always, when surf advisories are posted, beachgoers are urged to heed warning signs posted by lifeguards.
