Police believe they have a solid clue about who tried to rob the Mo'ili'ili branch of Central Pacific Bank on Tuesday: an ID card apparently left behind.
CrimeStoppers and police are seeking the public's help in finding Gregg Inoshita, whose card was found in the bank at 2615 S. King St.
At 2:24 p.m. Tuesday, a man approached a teller at the bank, handed him a note and demanded money. He fled in an unknown direction.
Inoshita was identified through a state identification card that was left at the counter. He is described as 5-feet-10 and 180 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white striped polo shirt and dark, long pants.
