FULLERTON, Calif. — Jared Clark homered and drove in three runs and Noe Ramirez struck out 10 over eight innings, sending Cal State Fullerton to the College World Series with a 11-2 victory over Louisville yesterday.

Fullerton (47-14) has yet to be challenged in five NCAA tournament contests, winning them by a combined score of 64-11. The four-time NCAA champion Titans, who last won it all in 2004, will head to Omaha for the 16th time and third in the last four years.

"We're not just going to Omaha to enjoy Omaha steaks and the people and environment," Titans coach Dave Serrano said. "We think we have a legitimate chance to win the national title with the way we're playing."

Ramirez gave up two solo homers to Chris Dominguez but allowed the Cardinals (47-18) only one other hit, a flare single to Adam Duvall in the fourth.

LSU 5, RICE 3:

Louis Coleman pitched eight strong innings, Derek Helenihi drove in two runs and the Tigers (51-16) beat the Owls (43-18) to win the super regional at Baton Rouge, La., and clinch a 15th College World Series appearance.

ARKANSAS 9, FLORIDA STATE 8:

Andrew Darr's two-run double in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Razorbacks (39-22) over the Seminoles (45-18) at Tallahassee, Fla., and into the College World Series.

TEXAS 10, TCU 4:

Michael Torres hit two home runs and had four RBIs to lead the top-seeded Longhorns (45-13-1) past the Horned Frogs (39-17) in the opening game of the best-of-three super regional series at Austin, Texas.

SOUTHERN MISS 9, FLORIDA 7:

Corey Stevens drove in three runs, reliever Jonathan Johnston pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings and the Golden Eagles (39-24) stunned the Gators (42-21) in their super regional opener at Gainesville, Fla.

VIRGINIA 4, MISSISSIPPI 3:

Robert Morey pitched four hitless innings after giving up two runs on his first three pitches and the Cavs (47-13-1) rallied to beat the Rebels (44-19) and force a winner-take-all game at Oxford, Miss.

NORTH CAROLINA 10, EAST CAROLINA 1:

Alex White struck out 12 and Kyle Seager had four hits, including a homer, as the Tar Heels (46-16) routed the Pirates (46-19) in a super regional opener at Chapel Hill, N.C.

ARIZONA STATE 7, CLEMSON 4:

Carlos Ramirez singled three times and drove in three runs, and Matt Newman's RBI double broke a 4-all tie in the seventh as the Sun Devils (48-12) beat the Tigers (44-21) in their super regional opener at Tempe, Ariz.
