Ocean Safety personnel helped three people who were stranded on the Mokulua Islands off Lanikai this afternoon. One of them had a lower leg injury.

The call came in at 3:30 p.m., said Honolulu Fire Department Capt. Robert Main.

Main said Ocean Safety personnel reached the three and brought them ashore about 4:30 p.m.

One had an injured leg and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, Main said.
