High surf advisory remains for all south shores

A high surf advisory issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect for the south-facing shores of all islands and is expected to continue through 6 p.m. Saturday.
Wave faces along the affected shoreline areas are expected to be 5 to 8 feet and may rise to higher levels on Friday, the weather service said.
Elsewhere on Oahu today, look for surf of 3 to 5 feet along west-facing shores, 1 to 2 feet along north-facing shoresand 4 to 6 feet along east-facing shores.
Outlook through Tuesday, June 30: The current south swell will get a bit of a reinforcement Friday and Saturday and then gradually lower into early next week.
