NEW YORK — Prince is coming to a Target near you.

The superstar is releasing a three-disc CD set through the retailer at the end of this month. The set will include two new albums — "LOtUSFLOW3R" and "MPLSoUND" — as well as a third by his new artist, Bria Valente, for $11.98.

Prince is the latest music legend to release new music exclusively through a major retailer. AC/DC and the Eagles were among the acts who sold millions of CDs through their partnership with Wal-Mart.

ESTEFAN FINALLY HEADING SOUTH

MIAMI — Seven-time Grammy winner Gloria Estefan has performed to many packed arenas worldwide in a career spanning more than two decades. But for the first time, she is taking her greatest-hits tour to South America.

Estefan announced plans yesterday to open in Uruguay on April 9 as she embarks on a tour with stops in Chile, Argentina, Peru and Ecuador. The Cuba native told a news conference that getting back to Latin America brings her "full circle."

"I spent 15 years of my life traveling, and we've been trying to get to Latin America forever," Estefan said.

BLAGOJEVICH SIGNS DEAL FOR HIS STORY

CHICAGO — Rod Blagojevich, the first U.S. governor in more than 20 years to be removed from office by impeachment, signed a deal yesterday to write a book "exposing the dark side of politics," his publicist said.

Blagojevich signed a "six-figure" deal to write a book for Phoenix Books, to be released in October, publicist Glenn Selig said.

Blagojevich was ousted in January after his arrest by federal authorities on corruption charges that include allegations he tried to sell President Obama's vacant U.S. Senate seat. He denies wrongdoing.

COLUMBIA U. HONORS WINFREY

NEW YORK — Media mogul Oprah Winfrey has received a leadership award from Columbia University.

University officials said the talk-show host received the 2009 Klingenstein Leadership Award Friday for her philanthropy in education and promotion of reading.

The award is given by The Klingenstein Center for Independent School Leadership.
