Weather again forced postponement of the voyaging canoe Hokulea's departure for Palmyra Atoll.

It was the ninth consecutive day the start of the 1,000-mile trip has been delayed.

The canoe's navigators, who sail without instruments, need clear skies in order to set their initial course.
