Lane closures are expected today along Fifth Avenue near Harding Avenue in Kaimuki so Hawaiian Electric Co. crews can perform utility work.

Special duty police officers will direct drivers through and around the construction area between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. today, HECO said.
