IRS to hold tax workshops in Honolulu, Hilo

The U.S. Internal Revenue Service will open the doors to its Honolulu and Hilo assistance centers on Saturday in an effort to help people with tax issues and questions.
The services provided will include preparation of basic tax returns for people who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit or those whose income is less than $42,000.
The IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center in Honolulu will open between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday at 300 Ala Moana.
The Hilo Taxpayer Assistance Center will operate during the same hours Saturday. It is located at 101 Aupuni St.
