Pali golf course greens restoration project complete
Advertiser Staff
The city announced today that the Pali Municipal Golf Course's back-nine greens have been reopened following a turf restoration project.
The city replaced the TifDwarf Bermuda on the greens with Seashore Paspalum.
Work on the front-nine greens was completed in September 2008.
The greens are still considered new and need time to fully mature.
Until then, the city is asking golfers to:
— Repair ball marks and divots.
— Park carts 30 yards from greens.
— Keep carts away from wet and repaired areas throughout the course and use the 90-degree rule whenever possible.
The rest of the course, including tees and fairways, will be converted to Seashore Paspalum in the future.
