No identity yet for man killed in cooling tower collapse

The Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office said it does not have the name yet of the man killed in the collapse of the cooling tower at Campbell Industrial Park yesterday.
The man, reported to be in his 50s, was part of a work crew who had been working to pull down the structure. He was one of two men in side finishing his work. The other man, who has yet to be identified, escaped unharmed.
The medical examiner's office said it hopes to have the man's identity Monday.
The tower collapsed at 8 a.m.The mn were part of a mainland company called A.G. Transport of California, hired by Hawaiian Cement, to tear down the tower at the Kalaeloa work site. The cooling tower was no longer in use. Hawaiian Cement operates a quarry in Halawa Valley.
