Hawaii residents can offer condolences to former South Korean president
The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea has a condolence book for the public to sign for South Korea’s former President Roh Moo Hyun, whose death over the weekend has tentatively been ruled a suicide.
Signatures will be taken until today at 4 p.m. at the Korean consulate location at 2756 Pali Highway.
Roh, who served as South Korea’s president between 2003 and 2008, died Saturday after jumping off a rocky cliff overlooking his home. The 62-year-old left behind a note describing his suffering after corruption allegations, the Associated Press reported.
Roh's funeral will be held in Bongwha, Kyungsangnamdo in Korea on Friday.
