Verizon Wireless is opening its first “evolution” communications store in Hawai‘i Friday at Honolulu’s Pacific Guardian Tower.

The newly remodeled store at 1440 Kapiolani Boulevard is double the size of the previous store at Pacific Guardian Tower and offers consumers hands-on interaction with wireless voice, data, music and video services.
A traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony and lei untying with Kahu Sherman Thompson is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m.
