FRUIT2DAY DISHES UP A DOUBLE SERVING

Americans don't eat enough fruit, probably because there are so many other temptations, and because washing, peeling, pitting and cutting fruit is a little more hassle than our fast food mindset is willing to accommodate. A new product, Fruit2day, available at Whole Foods and Safeway and soon to be rolled out in regional grocery stores, aims to solve that problem by packaging real, unsweetened fruit juice and puree and fruit pieces in wide-mouth bottles.

Each 6.7-ounce bottle of 110-120 calories each contains two servings of fruit. Flavors include Cherry Grape, Mango Peach, Pineapple Banana and Strawberry Orange. Suggested retail for a two-pack is $3.79. For a nutritional breakdown, go to www.Fruit2Day.com.
