CFB: No. 24 Wisconsin holds off Indiana rally 31-28

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — John Clay ran for 134 yards and a touchdown, Montee Ball scored two TDs and No. 24 Wisconsin held off Indiana for a 31-28 victory Saturday.
Wisconsin (7-2, 4-2 Big Ten) ran for 294 yards and won its second straight.
Indiana (4-6, 1-5) has lost three in a row and six of seven.
The Badgers dominated on the ground again after rushing for 441 yards last year in Bloomington. Clay was the workhorse in the first half when Wisconsin built a 24-14 lead. He did not touch the ball in the second half.
Ball finished with 27 carries for 115 yards.
But Indiana twice got within a field goal in the fourth quarter. Terrance Turner's 6-yard TD catch made it 24-21 and after Ball scored on a 3-yard run to make it 31-21, Indiana's Trea Burgess answered with a 2-yard TD run with 4:02 left.
but Indiana never got the ball back.
