Hawaii's east shores under high-surf advisory
Some of Hawaii’s east-facing shores are seeing some large and rough surf.
The National Weather Service in Honolulu says a high-surf advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. tomorrow.
Surf along east-facing shores of Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, Maui and Big Island will be about 8 feet to 12 feet.
A high-surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in the advisory areas and produce rip currents and localized beach erosion.
