A 45-year-old woman was arrested yesterday afternoon after she allegedly threw a bicycle belonging to another 45-year-old woman into Nuuanu Stream about 1:45 p.m. and then demanded the woman hand over her backpack.

Police said the woman who filed the complaint ran to the Downtown Police Station to report what had happened.
Police went to the area, arrested the suspect on suspicion of second-degree robbery and recovered the bicycle from the stream.
