Kailua will be jumping on Dec. 5 when Kaneohe Ranch hosts a Brunch with Santa event and local shops will set out their wares for a town-wide sidewalk sale.

Brunch with Santa akes place from 10 a.m. to noon in the parking garage behind Longs Drugs. Events include face painting, games, a candy station, sing-a-long and, of course, a visit from Santa. Cost is $25 for children, $12.50 for adults; military pay $20 for children, $10 for adults. Tickets: 953-9920.

The sidewalk sale will take place throughout the day with a visit from Santa at the Plaza Fountain from noon to 2 p.m.(bring wish list and camera). Activities include live entertainment, keiki craft workshops and complimentary gift wrapping for some purchases.
