State football: Kauai rallies past Hawai‘i Prep in semifinal, 28-14

Trey Shimabukuro passed for two touchdowns and ran for another as Kaua‘i beat Hawai‘i Prep, 28-14, in the First Hawaiian Bank/Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association Division II semifinals tonight at Vidinha Stadium, Kaua‘i.
Shimabukuro finished 17 of 31 for 208 yards with TD passes of 9 yards to Jamen Kealoha-Albarado and 25 yards to Paleku Yasay. Shimabukuro also ran for a 1-yard TD.
Kele Hanohano added a 43-yard TD run for Kaua‘i.
Hawai‘i Prep’s Keanu Yamamoto was 17 of 31 for 247 yards with a 10-yard TD pass to Isaiah Adams.
