Police trying to identify Waimea pharmacy robber
Big Island police are still seeking a man wanted for the armed robbery of a Waimea pharmacy this month.
The man, reportedly armed with a handgun, entered a pharmacy off Kawaihae Road on Nov. 9 with his face obscured and demanded the painkillers fentanyl and oxycodone, West Hawaii Today reported. Afterward, he fled on foot.
He is described as possibly in his 20s, between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 10 with a slim to medium build. He was wearing camouflage clothing and carrying a camouflage backpack.
